I am delighted to invite all University and college-level students to attend the 8th annual session of The Oxford International Model United Nations, hosted at The University of Oxford from 29th to 31st October 2010 .
The University of Oxford, with its array of historic colleges constitutes the milieu behind debate at OxIMUN. Participants of previous conferences consistently remark that debate is both engaging and challenging. Thus, in 2010 we aim to maintain the reputation which OxIMUN has gained over the years as well as continue to attract a diversity of over 450 delegates from around the globe to the oldest University in the English-speaking world. Renowned for its pursuit of academic excellence, Oxford invariably provides a unique and distinctive atmosphere in which to practice diplomacy.
This year, the OxIMUN 2010 Secretariat strives to bring participants an even more illustrious social programme; to offer a truly ‘Oxford’ experience.
Application for Registration opens on 15th April and will close on 25th May 2010; more information will soon be available through the Registration section of this website. OxIMUN consistently reaches full capacity quickly, so I would encourage Head Delegates to apply early to avoid disappointment.
We will be taking down the pages of the OxIMUN 2009 conference soon, but until then, feel free to browse through them. Updates about the OxIMUN 2010 conference will be available in the coming weeks, so please do visit www.oximun.org again as more information will become available.
